Our story - who we are
We believe coffee is one of life’s necessities. Roasting, brewing and selling coffee is a natural extension of our passion for the beverage and its ability to bring people together. On the Edge is an independent family business on the east edge of downtown Edmonton. We live in and around central Edmonton: downtown, in Riverdale, and in Boyle. We support the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market as our place of employment and our closest primary grocery store. We are proud vendors and feel privileged to be able to buy healthy sustainable local food in such a great location – the historic GWG/Army and Navy building on 97 Street.
What we sell
On the Edge Coffee roasts and sells specialty coffee from beans grown around the world. We work with companies that source beans ethically so farmers are paid enough to help them earn a decent living, and we roast on a zero-emissions Bellwether Roaster.
We are committed to the downtown and its market
We support local! Our equipment supplier is just a few doors south of the market on 97 Street. We pick up plant-based milk from our wholesaler's warehouse just up the street. We provide our customers with bite-sized treats from around our market that complement our brews.
Pick-up or Delivery
Any of our coffees can ordered for pick-up at the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market, or for delivery. We use Canada Post for distant deliveries, and for local we offer free delivery for orders over $30 within a 20 km radius of Edmonton's core.
