Flavour: We love the layers of sweetness and creamy body this coffee has to offer. This sweet coffee displays notes of milk chocolate, brown sugar, dulce de leche, and molasses with mild acidity and juicy body. Excellent for drip coffee and as a single-origin espresso.
The Oaxacan coffee-growing region is filled with small family farms, each consisting of just a few acres of land. Producers here continue to identify with their indigenous roots using organic practices to manage their farms and protect their environment. More than 4,000 of these producers from 134 communities and 45 producer associations have consolidated their efforts into an umbrella cooperative called Coordinadora Estatal de Productores de Café del Estado de Oaxaca (CEPCO). CEPCO brings together a large and diverse group of people with the primary objectives of economic stability, social justice and community empowerment. This lot from CEPCO is decaffeinated using the water-process method.
